Authors Policy

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Object

The purpose of this Policy is to establish the rights, responsibilities, requirements and

conditions applicable to authors who submit manuscripts or content to

Revista Líder Agropecuario.

Mainly regulates:

I. The presentation and reception of manuscripts.

II. Official submission channels.

III. The required files and documents.

IV. The identification and responsibility of the authors.

V. The necessary editorial statements.

VI. The use of images and other materials.

VII. The participation of the authors during the editorial process.

VIII. The costs and services related to editorial production.

IX. The formalization of the publication.

X. Rights and responsibilities after publication.

Article 2. Scope of application

This Policy will be applicable to all people who submit content for evaluation or

publication in Líder Agropecuario, regardless of:

• nationality;
• profession;
• academic degree;
• institutional affiliation;
• place of residence;
• activity sector;
• previous publishing experience;
• belonging or not to an academic institution.

The journal maintains an open author principle and recognizes that scientific dissemination

can originate from academia, research, professional practice, the sector

productive, the public sector, social organizations, communities and other spaces

legitimacy of generation or application of knowledge.

Article 3. Nature of the contents

The manuscripts must correspond to the nature of Líder Agropecuario as a Magazine

International Scientific Dissemination.

The contents must present scientific, technological, technical, professional,

productive or traditional in a rigorous, understandable, verifiable and accessible way for

audiences not necessarily specialized.

The presentation of scientific research results will be possible when they have been

Article 4. Official reception channels

Manuscripts may be submitted through any of the following official channels:

I. The Open Journal Systemás (OJS) editorial platform of Líder Agropecuario.

II. The official email of the journal intended for receiving manuscripts.

III. The electronic form or submission link available on the official Líder website

Agricultural, through which the manuscript and documents may be sent

corresponding.

The use of any of these channels will not generate differences in the criteria of

reception, evaluation, priority, acceptance or rejection.

Documents received by email or web form may be

subsequently incorporated into OJS or the corresponding internal system to maintain a

Materials sent through social networks, instant messaging services,

personal accounts or other unauthorized means will not be considered formally received

Article 5. Declarations and electronic acceptance

The submission of a manuscript will require that the corresponding author

make the electronic declarations and acceptances established by Líder Agropecuario

through OJS, the web form or the corresponding institutional mechanism.

Among other aspects, you must confirm that:

I. The manuscript meets the applicable originality requirements.

II. It is not simultaneously subject to evaluation in another publication when it is

The journal may request additional signed documents when the nature of the

Article 6. Mandatory manuscript files

The author must submit the complete manuscript in editable format

Microsoft Word (.docx) and, additionally, in PDF format, both corresponding to the

same version of the document.

The Word file will constitute the editable document of editorial work.

The PDF file will serve as a visual reference to the version originally submitted and

will allow you to verify the structure, location of elements, characters, symbols, images,

tables, graphs and other components when there are display differences or damage

in the editable file.

When there are substantial differences between both files, Líder Agropecuario may

request clarification or a corrected version.

For double-blind peer review, the journal may generate or request a version

anonymization of the manuscript when necessary.

Article 7. Format and structure of the manuscript

Líder Agropecuario adopts a free format principle.

Authors will not be required to use a rigid template to prepare their

manuscripts.

The magazine may make available guidance guides by type of content, whose purpose

will facilitate the presentation and improve the informative structure without limiting creativity or

diversity of styles.

As a general reference, articles may have an approximate length of 1,500 to

3,000 words of main body, without this range constituting an absolute limit.

The length should be proportional to the complexity of the topic and the need for

communicate it appropriately.

The language must be:

• clear;
• understandable;
• rigorous;
• accessible;
• respectful;
• suited for scientific outreach.

The use of technical terms will be valid when necessary, trying to

explain them when they may make understanding difficult for non-specialized audiences.

The narrative, examples, cases, comparisons and other communication resources can

be used as long as they do not alter the rigor of the content.

Article 8. Languages, summary, keywords and references

Líder Agropecuario may receive content in:

• Spanish;
• English;
• French;
• Portuguese.

Spanish will be the main language of communication of the magazine.

The articles must have a summary and keywords in Spanish and English,

regardless of the primary language of the manuscript. When the content is

originally presented in French or Portuguese, the

X. Text of the article.

XI. Tables, charts, graphs and visual elements.

XII. References.

XIII. Acknowledgments, when they exist.

XIV. Financing statement, when applicable.

XV. Declaration of conflicts of interest.

XVI. Public statement on substantive use of artificial intelligence when

Article 10. Information not intended for publication

Data and documents that should not appear publicly in the layout of the article

• permissions;

IMAGES, GRAPHICS AND VISUAL MATERIALS

Article 11. Incorporation of visual elements

Article 13. Editorial substitution of images

Article 15. Co-author and corresponding author

When there is more than one author, all of them must know and approve the sending and the

content of the manuscript.

• email;
• electronic forms;
• institutional platform;
• other official media enabled by the magazine.

Authors must keep their contact information updated and review

reasonably communications related to your file.

Communications must be carried out with respect and professionalism.

It is prohibited to attempt to improperly influence editors or reviewers through

pressures, threats, rewards, economic, institutional or personal relationships.

Article 35. Responsibility of the authors

The authors will be responsible for:

Article 39. Update

This Policy may be reviewed and updated when necessary to:

III. Adapt to regulatory changes.
